Adopting children from Africa

My wife and I are wanting to adopt a couple young children from Africa. Probably from the Kibera slum in Nairobi (www.KiberaSlum.com).

Everyone wants a baby. We want two children, preferably related, around age ten; because nobody wants them.

Keep us in your prayers. We’re hoping to make progress when we go to Kenya this fall.

I would like to be in the postion one day to adopt.

I hope once our baby, now 16 months, is two+ years old we consider it.

I hope one day soon I can be fortunate to adopt a child from Kibera. I have just watched a special on Kibera and have been thinking for the past year about adopting but I just wasn’t sure where I should focus. Children need homes all over this world. Please let me know if anyone has any information on how I could obtain more information on adopting in Kibera.
Thanks and wish all of you good luck! God Bless the Children!
