… an impact that has an impact

A few days ago people across America heard the news of the sudden death of a much respected news media personality. He was honored on just about every channel through out the afternoon and evening. And rightfully so. He stood for integrity and dignity … and that seems rare … especially in the news and entertainment business today. His impact
was felt around the nation.

Dads, when your life ends how will your family, friends and co-workers remember you ?

Here is the way I want people to think of me …

I once saw a 5 year old girl pass by her grand father’s casket at a funeral home. She said these words to her little friend who was with her as they moved into full view of her grand father’s body. She simply stated …
“And this is my grandpa … he loved Jesus.”
Now this father and grandpa left an impact … an eternal impact.

Paul stated in Ephesians 5: 2 …
“… live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us …”
