directions without complications
I like simple. I’m not a “tech” person … I only know two options on my cell phone. I prefer easy directions without complications. Give me a 3-step program and nothing more.
Jesus and His message was simple … but often ignored because of the lure of sin and living selfishly.
In the book of Mark, chapter 1 verse 15 the first recorded words of Jesus gave us step one. He said: “The time has come. The Kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news.” If you have not done step one … where you have confessed your sins before man, turned from you sins and believed in Him as your redeemer, then the rest of the directions have no eternal value.
Step two, Jesus stated in Mark 8:38 … “If anyone is ashamed of me and my words … the Son of Man will be ashamed of him …” Many so called Christians are afraid or embarrassed to speak of Jesus or even live like they trust Him as their Savior.
Step three, Jesus expects those that claim to believe, love, and know Him to tell others. In Mark 16:15 Jesus proclaims:
“Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.”
Satan loves to complicate our life with science, technology, reason, philosophy, and doubt. Using these things as tools for his lies. Jesus came to give us simple directions … grounded in childlike faith.
