Jesus in the NFL

Last week I was given the opportunity to deliver the chapel message to the players and coaches of the Chicago Bears. Thanks to all of you who prayed for me and the scripture GOD placed on my heart to present to these men.
I watched as 20-25 Bears came into the chapel room … some carrying their Bibles … but all willing to listen to what GOD might teach them at 7:30 in the morning.
My challenge was not a new concept … but rather an old theme that Satan wants all of us to forget during the hustle of the Christmas season.
I am convinced that the devil is “ok” with anyone who wants to believe in GOD. He just wants to be sure we leave Jesus out of our spiritual relationships. Satan seems fine with all of us knowing the “historical Jesus” … but he is committed to making certain we do not believe, trust and accept the “life changing eternal Jesus”.
While talking and eating with the Bears and their Chaplain … it was great to experience men that embrace our SAVIOR. Yes, Jesus is alive and at work in the NFL.

“… GOD has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of GOD does not have life.”
1 John 5: 11-12

Saving Lives through Athletic Ministry. Mike graduated from Moody Bible Institute's Graduate School May of 2009 with MA in Biblical Studies.
