Salavation is a simple gift.
It’s simple … but it wasn’t easy.
It’s free … but it wasn’t cheap.
It’s yours … but it isn’t automatic.
You must receive it.
And when you do, it’s yours forever.

Mike is the Sports and Men's Ministries Pastor at Christ Community Church in St. Charles, IL. He worked with the Chicago FCA in a special inner city program called "SLAM" ... Saving Lives through Athletic Ministry. Mike graduated from Moody Bible Institute's Graduate School May of 2009 with MA in Biblical Studies. Mike has also had the privilege of being a guest Chaplain for the Chicago Bears.

    Wasnt easy and wasnt cheap. Boy what an understatement. I was sitting in church on easter sunday when during the special music they played on the two big screens behind the choir clips from the Passion of the Christ. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I watched the portrayal of my Jesus beaten and bleeding and taking the stripes that should have been my own. What love he extended to us that very day when he was crucified for the sins of those in this world who were the very ones who cost him his life. What an awesome and wonderful Saviour who had he known I would be the only one to ask him for salvation would have laid down his life for me…..ME this is a very sobering thought. He laid down his life for me and yet I cling to my sinful nature as though to lose it would be the end all of happiness. Thank you Jesus for seeing thru myself into my heart and help me to be a man after your own heart.
