one and out

A sports headline in a Texas newspaper yesterday read:
“One and Out for Knight”. Basketball’s March Madness is designed to give you one chance to win a national championship. If you lose … your done.

In the real world called “life” … God created you to live once on this earth. The Heavenly Father gave you the free will to choose forgiveness and salvation through Jesus. If you’ve decided to live your life excluding God and His Son … you lose … you’re done. And what’s left for you is an eternal separation from God and His paradise in a place filled with torment.

The writer of Hebrews puts it this way in Hebrews 9: 27-28 ..

“Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people …”

So it boils down to this:
Are you living a “one and out” life … or are you living for Jesus ?
