Only the Lord
Christian Dads first week in is the books and I humble myself in comparison to the Lords greatness. We went from how are we going to do this, to the Lord is blowing this thing UP! Everyday has been an exciting ride. I remember day two BrowserBugs from Surrey, UK emailed us an encouraging note. On day two! Brian & I haven’t even told anyone outside our immediate family. BBugs found us from the other side of the world! How cool is that? BBugs continued his UK invasion bringing 3 more chaps (Vater, Beulah, & Josiah).
If someone told Brian & I that we’d have 35 posts in the first week I don’t think we would have believed it. This is really how God works isn’t? I love moments in life when you’re led to throw up your hands and say “Only the Lord”. Monday was another amazing day as three site contributors joined the team (Mike, Kraig, and Jason). Just crazy stuff.
Thank you Jesus for blessing this community, may we continue to follow Your lead. Continue to do things here and in our families that we can not explain. AMEN.
^ I ditto the comments Lis made above. God is truly amazing, isn’t he. A little background info with the domain name – about 6 months ago I was feeling a bit of a tug to go after ChristianDads.com, and contacted the owner. At that point, I wasn’t in a position to offer up the money for it, so I passed.
Easter service this year, I was sitting in the auditorium at Willow. (and I want to add that not very often do I hear God this clearly.) I heard God asking me to check back with the owner to see if the name was still available, and that He had plans for me to develop it.
The bottom line? Here we are…
