In the case of passing down a sinful nature like porn it's kind of mind boggling. Porn is usually done in secretiveness. So how does a son pick that up from a father? More open sins like greed or alcoholism it's easier to connect the dots. I will say that it's probably true that if you as a father struggle with porn you should first seek to over come that.
