the devil's chaplain

A few months ago I visited my Dad in the hospital as he was recovering from a mild heart attack shortly after gall bladder surgery. During my time with him I had an opportunity to speak with the hospital chaplain.

She claimed she was ordained by her church denomination and felt God calling her to this specific kind of ministry. However, when I asked her about the challenges of not compromising the gospel of Jesus while interacting with various religious beliefs … here was her response.

“I simply listen and do my best to connect people of all faiths … including Muslims and other non-Christians … to their god. Although I am a Christian, I am sensitive to the fact that individuals have their own special revelation of god and I respect their personal spiritual journey. I just encourage them to stay true to whatever pathway they have chosen.”

Satan loves these kinds of chaplains … because they are working for him … because they leave out JESUS.

Before our conversation ended this hospital chaplain asked me to pray. I thought to myself … “OK lady here it comes.” I thanked GOD for His healing hand on my Dad … and then I took full advantage of a chance to pray in the name of the only Redeeming Savior GOD has provided for all mankind … and that name is JESUS.

Paul makes it clear in 1 Corinthians 1:23 and in Philippians 3:10 that as ministers of truth we preach two things … “Christ crucified … and … “the power of His resurrection.”

So called chaplains that ignore the gospel are offering a message of death without hope.
