tired of being pushed around

There are some days that I just feel like satan is winning. All the “sin-garbage” in this nation and around the world simply seem overwhelming. Even the battles in my own life wear me down. At times I feel pushed around and on the edge of falling. Sometimes I stumble and God is not honored through me. What a mess I can create.

Then I take a walk through the Psalms and I discover truth and comfort just waiting there for me.

“I was pushed back and about to fall, but the Lord helped me.
The Lord is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation.” Psalm 118: 13-14

God is in control. Satan is no match for God’s word. Count on it.

    That says it all.. the biggest key ultimately is to realize that all we can do is our best and make the effort and the rest is up to God! We aren’t perfect but i believe it brings a joy to God’s heart when we realize we aren’t and try to change that.

    Mike, remember when you feel beaten down, one of the greatest verses:

    Psalm 23:4
    Even though I walk
    through the darkest valley,
    I will fear no evil,
    for you are with me;
    your rod and your staff,
    they comfort me.
