under review

Professional football has a rule that if there is any question about what actually happened during a play … the play is “under review” … and a final judgment is determined. I’ve noticed that even after careful examination and obvious evidence, some fans still claim the ruling incorrect. And although they cry and boo, the ruling stands.

A day is coming when you and I will come “under review”.
And God, through His Son, will make the final decision. Only this decision is much more than just the outcome of a football game … this decision is everlasting.

John Wayne once said in an old movie: “… you can’t live forever” … well the Duke was wrong. Each of us will live forever … with God or separated from God.

With faith and trust in King Jesus you can claim victory over death … and rest in the assurance that your life “under review” has already been sealed.

“… God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:11-12
