wait and see ? … bad advice
I know several people who have this “wait and see” attitude about Jesus. They are cautious and have told me in their words or by their actions that they are still “testing the waters”. Yet with every year that I am alive, I see children, teens, and adults suddenly and unexpectedly pass from this world into the next with no time to make a final choice regarding the Lord’s only plan of salvation.
In God’s Word … many writers made it clear that it is impossible to be neutral or indifferent about believing and trusting God and His Son for eternal life. In addition, there is a sense of urgency in scripture about making your decision now.
In Matthew 12:30 Jesus says:
“He who is not with me is against me … “
1 Kings 18:21 Elijah says:
“… How long will you waiver between two opinions ? …”
And in Hebrews 3:15 the writer reminds us:
“… Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts …”
A “wait and see” approach to Jesus is bad advice from Satan.
If you have heard “the gospel truth” … don’t hesitate to take your stand.
