Where'd Dad Go?
One of the best parts of being a dad is playing with my 2 year old son. He loves to imitate me. I’ll hide under the covers and yell “Where’d dad go?” He’ll dig through our blanket, comforter, and bed sheets to find me like I’m a lost treasure. The fun comes next. Upon finding me he grabs all the covers he can dives into our bed and yells “Where’d BRANDON GO?!?” I jump on top of him pretending to be unable to locate him while tickling him into a frenzy. Then it’s my turn to hide. Kids love this form of imitation.
One of the best life lessons you can teach your children is the appropriate way to love a women by modeling love to your wife. Today (a non-Hallmark day) would be an excellent day to do something extraordinary for your wife in front of your children. Never underestimate the value of love your children witness in your example.
Today, I’ll practice this principle and greet my wife with a big hug and kiss when I get home with flowers & gummy bears (her fav) in tow. I can only wait for that moment eight hours from now when I get back from work and set the mood for my family that our home is a place of love and joy.

Not a bad idea, my friend. Hope she received it as well as you intend it!
Would that we’d want to imitate our Heavenly Father as much as our “two year old” wants to imitate us, as earthly Fathers.
